Dolphins Dance Rates and Other Useful Information
| Dolphins Dance is our vacation home on beautiful Cape San Blas and we rent it out to people like you mostly by the week, but also by the month and by the day with a three day minimum stay. All weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Cape San Blas is super pet friendly, so by all means bring your pets. Dogs especially enjoy the beach and the surf! |

Please note that extra charges apply during rentals that include Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. Please enquire as they depend on the length of stay. Daily rates are for a minimum 3 day stay.
There is also a $85 cleaning fee that applies to each stay, or $125 for monthly stays. The pet fee is $75 per pet for one week, increasing for longer stays.
Please note that all prices are in US dollars and that Florida taxes of 11% apply.
These rates are subject to change without notice and in the event of a discrepancy between the rates posted on this website and the rates posted on any other website, these shall be deemed correct. Unfortunately it's not possible to update them all at once, so I start with this site. This applies to increases, but also to any special offers.
In order to reserve Dolphins Dance I ask you to send me a $300 deposit. This deposit converts to a damage deposit during your stay and is fully refundable assuming there is no damage. Half of the rental amount, including taxes, is due 60 days prior to the start of the rental period. The other half and the cleaning fee are due 30 days prior to the start of the rental period. For rentals of four weeks or more, the first half is due 90 days prior to the start of the rental period, and the other half is due 60 days prior to the start of the rental period.
I accept personal checks, cashiers checks, wire transfers and PayPal. With Paypal there is an additional 3% administrative fee. I am too small a business to accept credit cards.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
The $300 reservation deposit is non-refundable. When you reserve Dolphins Dance I take it off the market for the duration of your future vacation. The 60 and 30 day rental payments are also non-refundable unless I can re-rent the unit. If I can re-rent, I will refund all the money I collect from the new renter to you less a $100 administrative fee. I will try hard to re-rent Dolphins Dance, but I may have to lower the rental price in order to attract a new renter in a short period of time and this is why I will give you what I collect. In the case of a mandatory evacuation of the Cape, I will refund everything you have paid for the duration of the evacuation. I will not recommend a company, but I do recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself in the event of you having to cancel.
The only other piece of information is that I will only rent when at least one adult is 25 or over and I will ask you to fill out a rental contract when you reserve. Everybody's name has to be listed, including children, and the maximum number of people allowed to sleep in Dolphins Dance is six.
